🌸 DIMSUM X Southeast Asian Women Leadership Panel, August 17, 2025

Hosted in partnership with Elevate Women in STEAM+, his gathering brought together powerhouse Southeast Asian women leaders across industries. More than 55 of us came together to honor their courage, complexity, and quiet power.

From the heartfelt wisdom of Janice Chua and Anne Nguyen Oliver, to the soul-stirring presence of Priscilla Lim, who received the Touch of the Heart Award, the evening moved us beyond words. We witnessed stories that healed, voices that inspired, and a collective spirit that reminded us: leadership rooted in love is transformative.

A moment of pure magic arrived when Shannon Lee, President of the Bruce Lee Foundation, joined us to present the award, bringing full circle a legacy of strength
and soul that touched many of us growing up. To witness such icons show up with authenticity and vulnerability was nothing short of surreal.

And then came the voice that touched every soul in the room, Malea Emma. In your first return to the stage after a month-long recovery from tonsil surgery, your voice soared with power, grace, and heart. Thank you for reminding us what courage sounds like.

🪷 DIMSUM X Gong Bath: Dumplings x Sound Healing, August 16, 2025

This was a sacred experience I’ve dreamed of bringing to life: not just eating, but moving your hands, voice, and heart, connecting through culture and care.

👐 We began by hand-making dumplings together, laughing, folding, and learning with guidance from Chef Guo.

🔔 Then we entered a deep sound healing session, releasing stress, restoring peace, guided by Master Wu Wu.

🍽️ We ended by tasting our own creations, flavors of joy, belonging, and grounding. A full-body, full-spirit experience that brought inner peace, clarity and smiles.

💬 DIMSUM X Beyond Connections Lunch, August 15, 2025

At our Beverly Hills gathering with Beyond Connections (Connected Success), something profound happened.

What started as a networking lunch turned into one of the deepest, most vulnerable conversations we’ve ever had at DIMSUMX, sparked by Espree Devora, long-time LA Tech community builder.

The topic?
Pricing, self-worth, and why charging fairly is a radical act of self-respect.

Thoughts & Reflections:
