Our cybersecurity meetup opened new doors for those curious about entering the field. Brian von Kraus, CSyP, CPP shared his inspiring journey from military special operations to founding FireWatch Solutions. The UC Berkeley MICS program showcase highlighted how non-technical individuals can transition into cybersecurity through courses like 'Programming Fundamentals'.

Key insights shared included valuable networking tips:

We transformed traditional networking with our innovative vegan dim sum experience. In our zen-like atmosphere, we discovered that silence could indeed be the key to meaningful connections. Our amazing speakers elevated the experience:

As we wrap up 2023, it's time to celebrate every connection made, every conversation shared, and every community member who made DIMSUMX what it is today. This year, we're ending with a special "Round of Applause" celebration across multiple cities, because YOU deserve to be celebrated!

The latest Harvard Business Review's cover story "We're Still Lonely at Work" reinforces why we started this journey: one in five employees worldwide feels lonely at work. During the holiday season, these feelings of isolation can intensify, especially for remote workers, freelancers, and consultants who often miss out on traditional company celebrations.

That's why this December, we're creating YOUR holiday party—a celebration that goes beyond just sharing dim sum. It's about ensuring everyone has a place to belong during the festive season, whether you're:
